Scarf has been appointed to manage delivery of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) 4 Flex scheme in Argyll and Bute – a supplier-funded programme mandated by the UK Government to support energy-saving improvements such as heat pumps, solar PV, and insulation in eligible homes.
With over £18 million in funding facilitated across Scotland, Scarf brings deep technical expertise and operational scale to ensure households benefit from high-quality installations that cut both carbon emissions and energy bills.
In other areas where Scarf delivers ECO4 Flex, eligible homes have typically received almost £18,000 worth of fully funded renewable technologies and energy efficiency improvements – a significant investment that delivers lasting value for residents and the wider climate agenda.
On average, households have seen:
- Over £1,400 in annual bill savings
- Annual carbon reductions of more than 5 tonnes CO₂ per property
ECO4 Flex funding ensures more local homes can benefit from the transition to net zero – without the financial burden often associated with low-carbon technologies.
