Launched in 1985, Scarf’s original aim was to eradicate fuel poverty. Although this purpose remains at our core, Scarf has developed into a professional social enterprise making a practical difference to individuals and organisations.
As an established social enterprise Scarf works closely with our staff, partners, businesses and the local community to ensure that everything we do makes a positive difference.
Scarf has been listed in the Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For five of the past six years and in the Top 50 Scottish Companies list for the past two years. We are a Living Wage employer and work with our partners to develop employability opportunities.
We offer a number of services to help your business thrive.
Scarf’s vision is split into four key pillars.
To deliver a world class service and exceed the expectations of our customers.
To develop our services in such a way that they create a positive impact on society.
To continue to be recognised as a world class employer, putting our people at the heart of what we do.
To continue to build on 30 years of expertise, developing new services and growing the organisation.
