SCARF is a vibrant and value-driven social enterprise with its head office in Aberdeen, and activities across the North East of Scotland.
SCARF’s original aim was to make a practical difference to people living in fuel poverty and that purpose remains at our core as we deliver a range of quality services focusing on:
· fuel poverty
· energy efficiency
· sustainable living
· green space maintenance
We deliver energy advice programmes such as Home Energy Scotland (funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust) and HEAT (Home Energy Advice Team) services in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Perth & Kinross.
For the last three years SCARF has included the services of ‘Green Tracks’, a programme specialising in providing quality garden maintenance, landscaping and design services, working to make an impact in the lives of disadvantaged individuals in Aberdeen. Our aim is to train people who are recovering from a disability and help them on their road to sustainable employment.
We’re currently working on our website to update its content and to ensure it meets the needs of our customers and partners. In the meantime, if you’d like to know more about who we are, what we do and why we do it please contact us.
